July 1st 2024 Had the bodyshop once more re-ajust the shaker as it was still hitting the hood, And they made a bracket for the Carb Air leaver, so it could be attached with the A/C lower molding stillinstalled in the car.

June 18th 2023 Replaced the MSD Ready-to-run distributor, as it broke when I was out crusieing on the 15th. Had to be towed home.

March 31st 2023 Reasjusted the hood more with help from a friend. Got the hood better ajusted but not good. So need to take the 'cuda to the body shop when the snow clears. Mock up the shaker as well. I'm very happy with it. Need to ajust some bracket etc on the shaker to be done.

March 30th 2023 Tried to reasjust the hood some more. And installed shaker decale, hood pin metal plate and wash hoses etc to the hood. Pluss re-install the shaker base plate, K&N air filter E-1530 and Mopar Performence 13 inch air lid, after reajusting one of the bares on the XV Enige Bay Brace.

March 10th 2023 Got the seat cover back from repairs of the tread. Re-installed it on the seat just like the factory did it with hog rings. And then installet the Bracketeer so that it sits more secure to the seat with bolts. And then reasambled the seat. So now ready to be installed in the 'cuda.

March 2nd 2023 Delivered the shaker hood back to the bodyshop.
February 23rd-24th 2023 Got the shaker hood back from the body shop to test fitted on the 'cuda before the body shop welds and paintes the hood. And it fitted perfect. As you can see they stripped the hood back to bare metal, as there was a lot of body filler and some rust on the old 71 Barracuda hood.

February 14th 2023 Replaced the botom springs in driver side seat. Install new brulap, listing wire and felt. Need the fix som of the tread in the seat cover that is cut, before I install it again.

December 7th 2022 Testfittet the shaker base plate and filter to check for clearance against the engine brace. Used a K&N filter E-1530 and Mopar Performence 13 inch air lid, as sadly no X-Stream Airflow top lid is made in 13 inch. Will not use the original air filter lid as it restricts the air flow to much.

May 12th 2022 Had Magnus Motor realine up the bellhousing Quick Time #6073 so that it was 100% centered. And had them replace my A833 4-speed transmission with a Brewer's Performance rebuilt Chrysler A-833 4 speed 23 spline. 64-70 ball/dented style shifter mechanisem, E-body shifter position. Standard 2.66 Low gear. 4.805 diameter front bearing retainer.

August 10th 2021 Replaced the defect alternator with a Wilson 70 amp alternator. Now everything works again.
August 1st-4th 2021 Installed the mini-starter with the mini starter relocation terminal kit in the 'cuda. Made a new positiv power cable from the mini-start to connection on the firewall. Installed a 250 amp fuse on the main neagtiv battery cabel as well. Discovered that the alternator was defect. Ordered a new one.

July 15th 2021 When I tried to start the 'cuda the main positiv cable to the starter short circuit to the engine block. The main ground cable to the battery started to burn, but luckely I have a power switch. So I turned it off.
July 12th 2021 Temporary fixed the botom springs in driver seat with some steel wire, need to be replaced in the winter
July 9th 2021 Had shop replace the bellhousing, clutch disk, pressure plate and flywheel to Quick Time #6073 bellhousing, McLeod 10.5" Steel 6 bolts flywheel and RAM Cluthes 10.5" #98390 They also install new NOS shifter forks for 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 in the transmission because the old ones were worn out. But it looks like the outer sleeve of the drums of the synchronizer assembly for both 1st & 2nd and 3rd & 4th are worn out to. So the hole synchronizer assembly needs to be replaced as well to make the shifting better. But it is a alot better sto shift gears with the new clutch assembly.

September 8th 2020 Had a shop replace rear brake shoes as they were wrong type and were welded on. They replaced the trans mount, the alternator to a stock Mopar one and new regulator as well.
August 12th 2020 Had a shop replace the front tires as they were worn out.
May 3rd 2020 Replaced the Charger Specialties Tach to new one as it was broken.
April 23rd 2020 Got the 'cuda back from the body shop. They strainted the left fender and bumper bracket. Repainted the left fender and front bumper.

June 29th 2018 Replaced the broken thermostat to a 195 F EMP Stewart High Performance #306 (a Robert Shaw thermostat that's modified by EMP Stewart) one. The old one was a 180 F, but I think a 195 F going to work with the new heavy duty fan clutch.Truns out it was the nut on the Power Steering pump holding the pully that got loose, fastned it with some blue Locktite. Problem slowed.
June 23rd 2018 Replace the fan clutch to a Hayden #2747 Heavy Duty one, as i thought it was making noises, tured out to be the power steering pump. Ordered a new rebuilt power steering pump from 440 Source.
May 30th 2018 Installed new Pioneer TS-A6923I 9x6" speakers in the package tray.
May 29th 2018 Replaced the heater control valve with a 73-74 NOS one. As the 70 style type allways keep breaking. And the aftermarket one I had didn't close all the way, so there was allways heat on inside the car.
May 5th 2018 Installed fully restored and painted intererior trim molding on the rear window, side windows and windscreen. So now it'll as EB5 blue.

May 4th 2018 Had US Car Service As realign the wheels on the 'cuda as it was needed after fixing repairing the inner fender on the right side.
April 15th-20th 2018 Removed the melted positive cable to the starter and installed a new one from the firewall to the mini starter. And installed a new Optima Yellow top Battery in the trunk.
October 25th 2017 At last the 'cuda was done. Tried to drive it home but afther 500 meter the battery short circuit do to the positive battery cabel hit the headers. So it was on a tow truck th rest of the way home.

September 20th-October 10th 2017 Plastered, sanded, primed and painted the trunk floor and both rear lower quarters Reinstalled the fenders, grill, headlights, interior, windscreen, rear window. Primed and painted the fenders and the new AMD front elastomeric bumper. Primed and painted the taillight panel with the correct organosol black from Totally Auto. Primed and painted the the deck filler panel and rear quarters. Installed the taillights, licens plate, windcreen and rear window molding. Installed battery tray in the trunk and 3/0 AWG positive cable from the battery tray to the firewall.

February 6th 2017 Delivered the 'cuda for rust repair. Replacing: The hole trunk floor, including trunk floor extensions, spare tire hold down bracket and trunk lock support. Will also replace the deck filler panel, lower left rear quarter panel (pathch). Pluss stiffening it up the chassis with US Car Tools Body Level 2 Chassis Stiffening Pack.

October 25th-28th 2016 Removed all the interior of the 'cuda, except steering column, the dash and headliner.
July 3rd-4th 2016 Removed the old gas tank as it was the wrong year and leaking (Barracuda/cuda 72-74 gas tank) and no gas vent was installed. Sadly one of the j-bolts broke. So I had a shop make me new ones here in Norway. Installed new gas tank and 3/8" sending unit from Spectra Permium. New gas tank pad .090" rubber and fuel filler gas tank tube grommet from Detroit Muscle Technologies. Hooked up the correct gas vent tubing, as it was still there (replaced the rubber hoses).

October 5-6th 2015 Installed the the Mickey Thompson valve covers back on the 'cuda with Permatex Ultra Blue on both side of the Fel-Pro cork gasket #VS13379. And new bolts from Zachariassen Jernvare AS. Torque the bolts down the next day (as the Permatex Ultra Blue needs to dry for 24 hours)
October 4th 2015 Installed two NOS #2946079 Mopar grommet for 1-1/4" breather/PCV, NOS Mopar #3640339 grommet plug, new Edelbrock #4410 PCV breather and new hose for the PCV. Reused the Edelbrock breather #4405 and oil cap as they are practically new

October 1st 2015 Removed the Mickey Thompson valve covers and removed old gaskets and grommet as they were hard as rock. Cleaned the valve cover.
July 23th-24th 2015 Replaced the Edelbrock 750 cfm vacuum secondary carburator with a Quick Fuel HR 650 mechanical secondary. I went from vacuum to mechanical due to I have gone from automatic to manual transmition. The throttle respons is now much better. It's like a hole new car! I also replaced the fan clutch to a Flex-it #5557, as the old one was making a lot of noise
July 10th 2015 Had Mechtech install FFI's Sector Support kit. And had them remove the Bergman auto craft Direct-Fit Coupler on steering colum. They install Bergman auto craft a Universal Joint for mopar steering colum insted as the angles of the steering colum and steering gear box was not strait and the steering gear box keep coming loose. With the Universal Joint steering is much better and the steer gear box stay were it should.
May 27th 2015 Repleaced the water neck and gasket with Mancini Racing billet aluminium water neck #MRE-AL75. Do to the old one leaking. And removed the old tremostat for the electric fans Ii used to have one the 'cuda. And pluged to hole.
May 26th 2015 Set the timing with a Timing Gun, ended ut with 36 degrees. This really help the 'cuda on thortle respons.
April 18th 2015 Replaced the car battery with a Optima Red Top Battery as the old didn't charge any more.

August 21st 2014 Had US Cars Service install: Hotchkis Sport Suspension Greasable Pivot Shafts, Hydratech hydrabooster for Mopar E-body w/ Wildwood Aluminum Tandem Master Cylinder and Borgeson BAC modified power steering gear box and BAC Direct-Fit Steering Box Coupler. They also check the front and rear alinement.

April 18th 2011 Started up the 'cuda and ajusted the distrubutor, so it runs ok. Still need to ajust it with a timing light.

April 13th 2011 Removed the old Mallory dual point distrubutor and installed the new MSD Ready-to-run distributor and MSD Blaster 2 coil. Replaced all the sprakplug wire boots so that they fittes the MSD distributor (HEI type).

July 30th 2009 Replaced the water pump housing from a stock cast iron to a Summit Racing aliminium one. Flush the coolant system. Hooked up the heater core and heater valve to the water pump housing. Now the heater works and the car stayes cooler!

May 16th 2009 Delivered the 'cuda to a Frame Works to have them install: New lower ball joints, CAP Auto Products upper comtrol arms with heims ends, new Moog front control arm brushings and SSBC front drum to disc brake kit with 9" power brake booster.
May 1st 2009 Fired up the 'cuda and added some more power steering oil in the power steering pump. Took the 'cuda out of winter storage and went for the first drive of the year.

April 29th 2009 Had a shop put on some new 235/60-R14 Copper Cobra GT tires for the front rimes. And I reinstalled the wheels on the 'cuda.
April 23rd 2009 Re-torqued all the bolts in the steering and suspension. Greased up all the joint in the suspension and driveshaft. Filled the radiator with coolant. Checked and recheck every bolt and nut on the 'cuda.
April 22nd 2009 Replaced stock worn out tie rods and sleeve with Firm Feel Inc 11/16" Seamless Tubing Tie Rod Kit reinstalled the crush can, steering wheel and driver side a/c duct.

April 12th 2009 Ajusted the steering column. Hooked up the last wires to the steering column, etc Only need to install the saftey pin that hold the steering column locked to the steering gear box.

April 5th 2009 Repainted the steeringshaft in saintless steel color. i think it's going to look better then semi-gloss black, as my engine bay is black.
April 4th 2009 Disabled the steering column again do to the steeringshaft was not the right length was 37.5" should be 40.5", Separated the two parts in the drive shaft to the right length (need to be paint again). Installed light lens in the glove box and installed body plug for the clutch shaft (as I have a automatic 'cuda)
March 29th 2009 Installed new moog pitman arm and idler arm. installed glove box bumpers. Tested the rest of the electric system, everything works except the key buzzer. Faulty relay/buzzer.

March 22nd 2009 Fixed the power steering pump pulley line up. Finished installing the wires for the stereo. Replaced the upper radator hose with a correct one.
March 15th 2009 Installed a new glove box. Adjusted wiper arm linkage, works perfect now.. Fixed the last wiring in the engine room. Adjusted the alternator brackets so the pulleys would line up better. Still have a problem with the power steering pulley line up to the crank pulley.

March 12th 2009 Re-installed the driver side header, re-installed the power steering pump and re-installed the battery tray.

March 5th 2009 Added the glove box lid and installed a new 3-speed wiper motor. Fixed the last wiring in the coupé. All that’s left is the wiring in the engine room.

March 4th 2009 Replaced the crank pulley wheel, and test fitted the water pump pulley wheel. Added some extra parts to the dash, like lower left panel, etc

February 28th 2009 Reinstalled the dash in the 'cuda. Replaced the power steering box (to 73-74 style) Replaced the oil persure sending unit as well.
February 25th 2009 Replaced the water neck and added a 180 F termostat
February 16th 2009 Install the new dash wire harnez and A/C wire harnez from YearOne. Replaced glove box light switch with a NOS one (P/N 2947924) Added new correct light bulbs. And reused the wiring for the console light.

February 13th 2009 Reasembled the steering colunm. Removed the shifter lock out mechanisem and added a lower bearing (not stock). Replaced the cylinder lock, starter switch, the buzzer key switch (NOS p/n 2947459) and upper bearing.

February 09th 2009 Reasembled the dash. Well most of it. Need to modify a modling around the stereo to get evryting to fit right. The A/C control switch is not install as it's easier to install it when the dash is in the car.

January 9th 2009 Glued the woodgrain bezel to the metal brackets with 3M 90 glue spray. And install them on the rally dash bezel housings. Reasembled the switch panel. It's now ready to beinstalled in the car.

January 2nd 2009 Finally recived the new dash wirering from Year One. Started to sort out what of the old wirering i have to reuse. So fare it looks like only the wireing for the overlights for the cluster and slap stick light.
December 19th 2008 Received the speedometer from the speedometer shop and installed it in the cluster. Replaced the solid state limiter to a Real Time Eng. solid state limiter IVR3. And replaced the limiters harness as well. The cluster is now ready to be installed in dash.

November 22nd 2008 Deasasembled the steering column. Ready for sand blasting and then paint.
November 10th 2008 Installed the heater box into the 'cuda. Removed the battery and battery tray from the engine room.
November 6th 2008 Replaced the old tach in the instrument cluster with a new one from Charger Specialties that is digital and more acurat tach, then the factory one. As you can see there are some slit difference in the aperients on the two tachometers

November 3rd 2008 Restored the heater box. Replaced all the foam (from Detroit Muscle Technologies), heater core and removed the A/C evaporator. Ready to be install in the 'cuda. Special thanks to Greg's HO R/T at cuda-challenger.com for providing me with the vacuum actuator that I needed to replace.

July 1st 2008 Found a water leak in the right head do to bad threads in in a bolt hole. That fastens the headers, Re-treaded it with heli coil. No more leak Replaced thermostat to 160 F
June 15th 2008 - Fixed a small error in the steering column
June 14th 2008 - Installed the passenger seat and replaced the throttle cable as well

September 19th 2007 - The 'cuda is now in winter storage... Sadly the Powermaster Mini-starter broke during the drive to winter storage (over heated). Found out it was to close to the headers.
September 16th 2007 - Replaced the stock starter with a Powermaster Mini-starter
- Removed Termotec exhaust jakets, as they were wrecked during the mini-starter installation
September 13th 2007 - Added the rear valance w/ 'cuda exhaust cut outs. Sadly the painter didn't match the colors of the car right. So it has to be repainted again when installed on the car. 'cuda ehaust tips will be added when the exhaust system has been replaced (and the headers).

July 7th 2007 - Replaced the stock broken 62 amp alternator to a Powermaster 92 amp alternator
July 6th 2007 - Replaced the battery do to a broken Alternator (charged only 20 amp, so it killed the old battery)
July 1St 2007 - Replaced the heater blower motor with a NOS one and cleaned the fan.
- Fixed an error in the wiper linkage. So now it operates smooth.
June 25th 2007 - Had a shop replace both engine mounts and transmissiom mount.
- The shop also replaced the oil pickup and oil pan to the correct one as the one that was on the car was leaking and hitting the steering linkage.
June 16th 2007 - Removed the B&M shifter wire and added the correct shifter linkage. So now I don't have to worry out setting it correctly in park anymore.
June 7th 2007 - Replaced 2-speed wiper motor with a 3-speed wiper motor, like the fender tag sayes my 'cuda should have.
- Added the right and left inner fender inspection cover.
June 3rd 2007 - Added the a/c heater water valve again, and sealed the heater core with radiator sealer.
- Hooked up the heat control wire
- Replaced the filler neck to trunk sealer and and filler neck to gas tank seal. No more gas smell in the trunk and leakage from the tank.

May 30th 2007 - Replaced the AC Switch / Control Ass. So now fianally the blower motor runs.
May 24th 2007 - Replaced the old rear worn out BFGoodrich 275/60/15 tires with brand new Yokohama AVID S/T 255/60/15. Reason for down sizing is, do to rubbing. The new tires clears real nice

April 27th 2007 - Removed the fan shroud, as the fan was hitting it. Need to replaced motor mount to get the engine strait. Then add the shroud again.
- Installed a new used console woodgrain top plate. As the old was hacked up.

- Flushed the radiator and replaced the coolant
April 15th 2007 -Installed fan shroud
-Added rear exhaust hanger for the 'cuda exhaust tips. And locked the muffler heat shields in place (same bolt holding them in place as the 'cuda exhaust hangers).
March 31st 2007 - Added left inner fender splash shield. And tried to add the right one as well. But there was cut a large hole in the inner fender were it should be, so it didn't fit. I need to fabricate some other fasteners for it.
- Tried to fix leakage in the oil pan with a new oil drain plug and oil. But found out that the oil pan is to crooked for the oil drain plug to seal. So I need a new one.
- Ripped out the carpet in the trunk to check out the condition of trunk floor. It looked ok.
- Added original shifter. Still had to use the shifter linkage from the B&M shifter as the lower linkage shifter rod I had was to long. So I need to find a new one. As shifting with a wire isn't as smooth as steel rods.

March 24th 2007 - Fixed error with the braking lights.
March 24th 2007 - Removed a/c heater water valve, do to leaking in the heater core.
- Refitted the valance insert, so now it's correctly fitted.
- Install correct throttle return spring and bracket.
- Replaced the coolant and termostat in the engine.
- Added new spark plug wire seporators for test fitting.
